PMG Transcription
Through its partner Nsight Global, PMG is offering a high-quality transcription service featuring rapid turnaround time at an excellent price. Like all PMG Transcription offerings, this service is fully integrated with Elysium for electronic review, signature and distribution. Surgery centers and large practices benefit from client selected turn-around-times and the integrated Elysium Report Manager to track and manage unsigned transcriptions.
Elysium Transcription
Using a PMG Technology Solutions (PMGTS) supplied Olympus® recorder kit, the provider can dictate and then upload via the Elysium EMR to the Elysium On-Shore transcription staff. Dictations arrive back in the Elysium ‘Awaiting Action’ box within two business days. The transcription is then available for review, signing and distribution via the Santa Cruz Health Information Exchange (SCHIE).
Voice Recognition using Dragon Naturally Speaking
PMG Technology Solutions is authorized to sell and support Dragon Naturally Speaking. The medical version of this product contains the appropriate dictionary that is required to make voice recognition work in a clinical environment. Dragon is fully integrated into Practice Partner and Elysium. Dictations are immediately accessible within the EMR and can be easily forwarded to any of the 1,400+ providers in the system. After the initial investment in Dragon, there are no on-going costs – making the return on investment in less than three months in most cases. For a nominal software maintenance fee practices have access to the latest updates.
Elysium Office Transcription
The newest transcription option available from PMGTS has an attractive price: Zero. No cost to implement, no cost for training, no cost to use and no cost for support. Providers, office managers, staff and existing outside transcriptionists can drop a transcription right into Elysium. The transcription is then immediately available for review, signing and distribution.
Contracted Independent or In-House Transcriptionist
In-house transcriptionists use the Elysium Office Transcription feature described above. Transcriptions are available for your review, signature and distribution via Elysium and a signed copy is permanently stored in the patient record in Elysium EMR or Practice Partner EMR.
