iHub FAQ

Who can exchange data via the iHub?

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) users, labs, hospitals, radiology centers etc. can all exchange clinical data via the iHub.

How do practices benefit from the iHub?

Because the iHub facilitates the delivery of clinical data directly into a patient’s EMR, the iHub eliminates the need for staff to cut and paste data from disparate systems. The reduction in labor may allow practices to reduce staff, or apply their services to other tasks. Patient care is improved because human intervention is largely eliminated, and providers can make health care decisions based upon the increased availability of historic and new data.

Is there a fee for using the iHub?

No, the iHub is available at no charge to affiliated providers and community facilities. If a bridge is needed between an EMR and Elysium, interface design services are available.

How is a Virtual Health Record (VHR) conceptually linked to the iHub?

The iHub is a conduit for electronic health information. The iHub standardizes clinical data allowing point of care clinicians, such as those in emergency rooms; to view a patient’s health records from a variety of sources via the VHR system.
